Delicious (and healthy) Frozen Summer Treats

I recently purchased the Gourmia GSI180 Automatic Healthy Frozen Dessert Maker (currently available on Amazon for $34.99) and dessert in our household has been elevated to new heights. I feel great about serving my husband and kids delicious frozen creations free from gluten, dairy, added sugar, soy, artificial ingredients and preservatives. The product comes with several recipes, but we are having fun creating our own as well. You simply add various combinations of frozen fruit into the machine and in a matter of seconds you have a delicious and nutritious dessert with a sorbet-like consistency. Its a perfect treat for any time of the day or night. A recent favorite of mine was a take on a classic "PB &J" where we blended frozen organic bananas and blueberries, then added a drizzle of raw almond butter throughout the dessert. (I also added a bit of maca powder, spirulina and cacao powder to get in some Superfoods and make it even healthier). The machine is small and easily fits on a countertop or in a cabinet and is quick and easy to clean. (None of the dreaded juicer - type clean up here!)
